Explorers would not be possible without the Explorers themselves however it also needs Direction, Encouragement, Enthusiasm, Dedication, Direction and Drive all these things are achieved by a strong leadership team that provide the necessary skills and knowledge to help Explorers achieve the most out of scouting.

Below are the leaders who between them all make Explorer Scouting happen in the Bournemouth Avon

Supernova ESL | Chris Green (Mushroom)
Don't be put off by the nickname this mushroom certainly isn't poisonous... But certainly wouldn't try eating him either! Mushroom or Chris is The Explorers driving force keeping the leadership team motivated with the drive needed to keep Explorers fun!


  Supernova AESL | Stuart Waldie (Tintin)
Cheese Fiend! seems to be Tintins favorite saying on any event we goto! A scream to be a round loves getting involved with any of the events we do espcially the Pioneering check out Pioneering Camp photos!

 Supernova AESL | Mr Rob Green (BB-Beaker)
Cheese Fiend #2 this leader is qualified to drown sorry take us out on the water and mess around. A Little strange with the weirdest sense of humour guarenteed to make you either laugh or cringe! (Note no one has actually drowned yet)


  Supernova AESL | Elaine Taylor (Snowy)
Our female leader Snowy is a giggle to be around often with Pixie (Tintin's and Snowy's dog not som la-la wonderland). Snowy enjoys helping out and taking part in the activities on Camp.

Slightly nutty, hint of honey, a bit crunchy... and that's not the bowl of cereal he is holding! Dramatic... Check Charismatic... Check Vocal... Hell Yes!

Bournemouth Explorers new look website has been done our tech guru Gizmo. Why Gizmo? because he has a gizmo for every eventuality. Also responsible for Duke Of Edinburgh and getting people motivated and ready for there expeditions.
